International Werewolf Adventure Crew Union

So yeah, I scanned my drawings, placed them in Illustrator, and rendered them using mainly using the pen tool (which I have conquered). I didn't need my tablet and only used the mouse, my thumb was hurting when I finished.

It's pronounced "I wack you". Like with a hammer or large book or something.

Blowin' Bubbles

This literally took like 15 minutes to do.

Fox Spirit

The picture above is something I drew back when I was probably 14 or 15. It was good for back then. It looks super crappy to me now.

Now, this is when I first attempting to use Photoshop. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. All I knew was that I wanted it to look absolutely amazing. It doesn't.

THIS IS THE RESULT OF HOURS UPON HOURS OF HARD WORK SWEAT AND ANNOYANCE WITH PHOTOSHOP AND MY INABILITY TO USE IT CORRECTLY.
Okay now that that's off my chest... I more or less kept the body from the original drawing the same but you see the real improvement in the face and coloring. I am so freakin' happy with this. I want a giant poster of it. :)

Bookmarks

These are some bookmarks I designed. Did my usual process and drew them by hand with pencil on paper first, scanned them, and rendered them with a compooter (using Adobe Illustrator). The top one is Puppycat from Natasha Allegri's Bee and Puppycat, and Cake (also designed by Allegri) from Adventure Time. The bottom features Bee from Bee and Puppycat. These bookmarks didn't take to long to complete. I want to use them.

I have no rights to Adventure Time or Bee and Puppycat.

Jellyfish are Kewl

The character above is Natalie. I've spent so much time trying to get this piece right. I had to redo the line art. I had to redo the who coloring process. I wanted to punch Photoshop in the face. But now, it is complete, and I am content.

Valentine Candy Box Design

This box design is a parody of the (awful) Valentine's candy, Sweethearts (yuck). I did it in Illustrator.
It reads:

INGREDIENTS: high fructose corn syrup, cyanide, discontent, artificial sweetener, hatred, gelatin, scorn , bleach, frowns, tar, glycerine, sarcasm, vegetable gums, tar, mercury, the tears of children, chalk

ALLERGY INFORMATION: Consuming this product may (and probably will) result in poisoning and/or death.

NUTRITION FACTS: There is no positive nutritional value in this product whatsoever. In fact, it will probably kill you.

Scornfully made by slaves in the Underworld.

Some of the candies say:
-U DISGUST ME
-GO DIE.
-NO.
-NO1 LOVES U
-U R SCUM
-KISS MY FIST
-BUG OFF
-FRIEND ZONE
-4EVER ALONE
-I HATE YOU

This is just lovely, right?

Silk Screen Design

The first image above features myself modeling a shirt with a graphic I made. I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to do this. The image below is the original sketch I did a few months ago. As soon as we got this assignment, it popped into my head... on a shirt.

Second Logo Design

This is a design I did for a contest on 99designs.com. It was for baby clothes or something.

First Logo Design

This is the first logo I've ever designed.

Gingerbread House

This is a paper gingerbread house I designed in Adobe Illustrator.

Evangelion Minimalist Poster

I recently finished watching the Rebuild of Evangelion movies and the original Neon Genesis Evangelion anime which said movies are based on. It was an amazing (and at times vexing) experience. When I found out that our next project was to make a minimalist poster of something we'd watched, I immediately thought of Eva Unit 01 (the giant robot in the poster above). This took about two class periods and lunches. I'm happy I finished it so fast.

(I do not have any rights to the Evangelion franchises.)

Toy Story Minimalist Poster

This is a minimalist poster. Basically, it's a poster with as little as possible on it, but not so little as you can't tell what it is. I did it in Adobe Illustrator.

I do not own Disney, or Pixar, or Toy Story.

Kingyou Guides of the Night

This is a picture a completed in my Graphic Design class. The assignment was to make a poster. As you can see, I did a bangin' job. I did the rough, and inked drafts on regular ol' computer paper by hand, then scanned the inked picture onto my computer at school. I used Adobe Illustrator to make another set of line art, and then rendered that in Photoshop. I took more than a second (ugh). I wish I didn't have GD just for an hour at a time. I wish I could just be in that class the whole school day.
Now onto the image above. The goldfish are spirit guides (?) leading this girl back to the material plane from the spirit world (or something). Her lantern says kingyou or, "goldfish" in Japanese.
This piece was also an experiment. I have no idea how to properly do a glow effect when using Photoshop as a rendering implement. So I just kind did my own thing and played around with the spray brush and opacity.
But, I'm happy with how this came out, so that's good.
Oh, yeah! I drag my drawing tablet (which I used on this) to and from school. I'm such a dedicated student. The scanned draft is below.
